Fundamentals of Physics Part–I

Fundamentals of Physics Part–I has been carefully prepared for B.Sc. First Year students of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded and other state universities of Maharashtra in accordance with the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020) as well as the needs of undergraduate science education. The book presents four important branches of physics that form the foundation for advanced studies:

1. Gravitation: Understanding the universal force that governs celestial and terrestrial motion.
2. Fluids: Exploring the behaviour of liquids and gases and their practical applications.
3. Sound: Studying the production, propagation, and characteristics of mechanical waves.
4. Semiconductor Physics: Introducing the physical principles underlying modern electronic devices.

Each chapter combines theoretical concepts, mathematical treatment, illustrative examples, and practical applications to promote conceptual understanding and analytical thinking. The topics included in this volume constitute a significant portion of the undergraduate physics curriculum and provide the necessary foundation for more advanced studies.
